THE sunflower blushed to own the nameless flower as her kin.
The sun rose and smiled on it, saying, “Are you well, my darling?”
The water lilies were seen in a location where paddy is cultivated few feet below the sea level. Special dams are constructed that check the in-flow of saline water thereby enabling two crops per year. However, during rainy season, the out-flow is ensured by opening shutters in the dam. Location is Kuttanadu in Alapuzha district in the state of Kerala.
