Jew Town in Kochi, Kerala is the home to an elaborate antique market. Several shops sells antiques and collectables form many years. Another attraction is the historical synagogue which was build up in 15th century. Thousands of tourists visit Jew town every day to see the market and purchase antiques. Here, I met Ashraf.

Ahsraf owns one of the leading businesses located here. A man of experience and business acumen, he offered to take me on a tour of his shop and warehouse, located at the end of the street. The neatness of the place was impressive. Walls that had lost some of the plaster and the cobwebs ironically adds to the beauty of the place. Beautiful Vembanadu lake is at the backyard of Ashraf’s vast warehouse.
