Some closed for the day; others are about to close. Being a Sunday, tourists were less in Mattancherry – an old commercial town in the Ernakulam District. The twin towns of Mattancherry and Fort Kochi seemed to have captured the spirit of bygone days and the reluctance to let go is charming.
