Magha Mallika (Sanskrit) or Jasminum Multiflorum has eight lobed white flowers and is so fragrant. The flowers can sometimes cover the entire plant, leaving few leaves visible. Jasmine is referred to as Yasmin in Arabic. A loner among all those brightly coloured flowers in our home garden, the Jasmine is the favorite of most.
