Spider

He was trying to build a home when my 11 yo daughter first saw him. It was a bright sunny morning one summer. She alerted me saying she had found a good subject for me to spent the rest of the day with; or till lunch is ready-whichever comes first. As I approached my subject carefully with the camera, he appeared as if I would not bother him much. He soon proved to be a subject where I should go for a close-up shot. And that was when he bravely defended his territory or patch. He faced me… faced the lens… even waved his forelimbs as if to say “Go away” or rather “Come closer, if you dare”.
